(BBP certificate course by Health Educators, Inc. Authorized instructors for OSHA General Industry). We renew our certificates yearly to keep up to date with current practices so that we may protect our health and most importantly the health and safety of our valued clients.

Body Piercing and Modification?
One of Toronto's most renowned body modification artists, Jayme Payne, will be available by appointment for piercing and modification. She has over a decade of experience and is BBP certified and meets or exceeds the standards of the APP ( Association of Professional Piercers ). She is the only piercer in the GTA exclusively using titanium internally threaded jewelry which is the best quality of jewelry available to pierce with.
On a side note... Jayme's apprentice of a year and a half, has been successfully performing basic piercings since November of 2007. Laura Abel is exceptionally talented and knowledgeable. Laura needs to build her portfolio and learn some more advanced piercings than what she has been doing in order to advance her promising future in this industry. Anybody willing to allow her to practice under Jayme's supervision certain piercings, will only be charged for material fees. No charge will be made to those piercings that need adjustment. Please contact Jayme for details by clicking on "contact" above.
A word from Chris Moniz about his current employment as a tattooer...
Since leaving lower east side tattoo studio in the summer of 2006, I had set up a fully dedicated PRIVATE TATTOO AREA in my home and had worked tattooing downtown Toronto at Electric tattoo part-time. Unfortunately, Electric Tattoo will no longer be in operation. I've decided to continue working privately full-time. I will be making myself available to do guest spots at various tattoo shops in the greater Toronto area (along with it's surrounding cities). I'll be doing both tattoos and other arts near the Main St. Station subway stop (near Victoria Park and Danforth).
My private set-up is very much like what you would see in a tattoo shop. BOTH Needles and Tubes are new, disposable (one use) and sterile!!! Prevention of cross-contamination measures are in effect and everything gets properly disposed of based on the Health Educators Bloodbourne Pathogens Certificate course by David A. Vidra, L.P.N.,M.A., that I attend annually. There is no tattoo flash or pictures to choose from here. All tattoos that I do are custom and sizes can range from the size of a penny to the whole body. Although my portfolio displays larger works, I'm more than happy to do any type of tattoo big or small. My tattoo clients are encouraged to bring picture references of thier tattoo ideas if they can. That way a good sketch can be drawn up during the free drawing session at the beginning of the tattoo process.
If you would like to get some tattoo art done or are interested in a free consultation, give me a shout on my cell 416-277-8936 (text message is ok). If when you call, I don't answer right away, I could possibly be doing a tattoo at that moment. I will get back to you eventually or please try to call again in an hour. Please leave a message if I don't answer (and don't be too shocked if I don't answer at unreasonable hours!!!)... Cheers!
Policies:
1. I don't tattoo the good folks that are under 18. no amount of parental presence or consent would convince me to do otherwise!
2a. The only way I will provide pricing is through a consultation. The only exception to this is people who live more than an hour away from toronto withwhom I'm willing to have a discussion first by email or phone. If u want me to call you, u may text your name and number to 416-277-8936. Consults are free and usually last an hour or two depending on the nature of the tattoo.
2b.
Please don't bother contacting me via email asking for a quote right off the bat. I won't respond to your email due to the amount of emails I get! :) It's bad enough that I have a lot of spam to sift through!
Now go ahead and check out my tattoo portfolio gallery!

How do I become a tattoo artist?
In the last decade, I've had an incredible amount of people ask me how I got in this business. From those people there have been many who ask how they could become a tattooer as well. How to become a tattoo artist really depends on how badly you want to become one. Some people look at me while I tattoo and think, "Hey, I can do that!". It is not as easy as I or any other tattooers make it look.
